Everyone wants to save and yet there are varying degrees to which people choose to subject themselves in order to shave off a buck or two from purchases. Haggling and asking for discounts is one thing.
But one often overlooked way to trim costs is coupons. They’re always available and, unlike haggling which can be unsuccessful, stores are bound to honor coupons.
Some people avoid doing any of these to avoid looking cheap. But who wants to continue putting up fronts in this economy? Thanks to the recession, cheap and cheerful is the new chic.
Mind you that even though the savings are small, these would eventually add up to a sizable amount over time. Or even with use on combined purchases. Say you save a dollar off for 10 items, that’s $10 saved easy.
You must keep in mind that you have to be brand and buck-per-bang conscious as well since some brands will cost more than others.
