Stocks at 1-year highs

StocksThose who dared to invest around seven months ago must be popping bottles by now. Wall Street is at its highest in the span of a year, thanks to the boost in industrial production and the rise in commodity prices.

All indexes gained at session’s close. The Dow closed 1.1% or 108 points higher. Broad-index Standard & Poor 500 added 1.5% or 16 points to its previous total. Tech-heavy Nasdaq rose 30 points or 1.5%

Again, positive market news fueled investors in shedding the cautious attitude that opened the month. Mood is on the upbeat side so the concern for the future relies on investors’ willingness to continue trading.

Still, experts continue to preach caution over the real state of affair versus the projections. Wall Street’s rally has been sustained by better-than-expected reports. Unemployment and housing continue to be problems though.
