The president is really trying to be on top of things. President Obama raised his concern over the griwung unemployment despite reports of better economic outlooks.

Speaking to his Economic Recovery Advisory Board, the president said, “We’re pleased that we’ve seen some progress, that there is some return to normalcy in certain aspects of the financial markets… We expect that there is going to be some stabilizing in the economy … will begin to turn again. The concern that we have is that even in a stabilized situation there is the prospect of higher unemployment for some time to come.”

Unemployment rates are up all across the union reaching double-digits in some areas. Unemployment claims are also affecting the market not only due to its dent on the social security but also with the indication of lessened buying power of the middle class.

The president told his board that he is focused on projecting for the future. His efforts in creating clean energy is seen as a way to create “green” jobs that will help improve the job market’s condition.
