How much do you spend on Friday nights?

Work can be so stressful that a beer with friends on a Friday night is just one of those things that you do to forget about all the workplace crap that you have to put up with for a whole week.
I had this interesting conversation with one of the staff in the company for which I consult. He often finds himself broke a few days before payday. Not that the work’s stressful but it turned out that the Friday night beer out with friends has become a nightly thing.
The expense of beer (and the inevitable “rounds on me”) has become a regular expense for him. And not a weekly one at that. It came to a point that it became an almost daily expense!
If you’re the type that goes out on a Friday night then try and calculate how much you spend on such an occasion. This guy’s spending that much almost every night.
Now try the same exercise and multiply it by how many times you go out in a month. I bet it’s already a pretty sizable amount.
