Many motorists have gone back to driving as gas prices eased to below $2 on the average. However, as spring paves way to summer, experts have warned that there’s a natural rise in gas prices but fears of $4 gallons are not to be expected.

Still, motorists’ wallets will feel the price at the pumps as gas prices have now risen 9% over the past two weeks, gaining 18 cents on the average. An AAA survey revealed that the national average of a gallon is now at $2.226.

Analysts, still insist that last year’s record of $4.114 is still unlikely. This sharp rise is still attributed to the increasing mobility during the summer period as people drive to farther destinations during this span. Price of gas in the near future is expected to be within its current price range barring any major event that might affect supply.
