It’s Black Friday once again and many people are geared up to do some bargain shopping. However, are Black Friday deals good deals?
CNNMoney explores Black Friday myths. Before you start lining up in front of malls and department stores at dawn on Friday, in your pajamas, you ought to check the following:
1. There is no such thing as limited quantities. They do have stocks. They are not just releasing all of them.
2. Be aware of electronic derivatives – or models of products which have less features than the standard ones. They may be cheaper but their prices may not be too far apart from each other.
3. Some Black Friday deals are online but what they refuse to inform consumers is which these items are.
4. Worse – when you do shop online and the items come in late or never at all.
5. Worst – when retailers offer a raincheck and they end up giving empty promises.
