AppleQuite a few of my programmer friends are so into iPhone app development right now hoping to make the next big iPhone app. As with most applications, only a few of them will stand out as any good. Thing is, with only a $0.99 retail price, most consumers wouldn’t bother differentiationg what’s good and bad.

Apple does have a review process on what kinds of apps go up on sale in the iStore but many crap apps have still managed to weasel their way through.

But Apple’s finally putting its foot down, revoking the license of the 3rd most prolific third-party developer – Pakistani-based Perfect Acumen. The group managed to post 943 near-worthless appplications and many of them appear to have violated a number of copyrights.

Apple hasn’t stopped there. China-based Molinker gets the axe too, including its 1,898 apps due to manipulating the rating system by allegedly offering free apps to users who give Molinker apps five star ratings.
